Fished the island pond a week ago and did OK. I caught all of my fish on 5" Senkos, watermelon and black. Most of the fish I caught and all of the better fish came from the tules in the back of the pond. Pitch them Senko's in as deep as you can, the fish were way back in there. I will probably be going again Monday, not sure if I will do the back ponds again, or take the kickboat and do the main lake. I,m still looking for that 1 big trout fed pig. Good luck...

thanks, decided to try my luck at lafayette this weekend (i know i'm crazy) though.

i know there's a few hogs in the main lake. i caught a 9# a while back and there were about 3 or 4 other ones that came up with her. also seen a bunch cruising along stanley shorline.
