I was going fishing wednesday but not too sure where? I was thinking maybe Lake Gregory or Green Valley Lake, or maybe Crystal Lake or Lake Fulmor, but those latter 2 get fished out quick.

Anyone heading out somewhere else wednesday?

Wish I was heading out Wednesday myself but can't do the weekday thing much. Bummer. I'm happy to see someone else enjoying the bliss of mid-week fishing. Green Valley or even Big Bear would be pretty good choices right now. I like both lakes alot, especially Big Bear for the trolling. Green Valley is just flat out a great little trout fishery. You win either way I think. Good Luck wherever your rod and reel takes you.

I have a cabin in Green Valley. The lake is extremely low this year because there was no new runoff to provide oxygen into the lake. Not one drop of water left the spillway by the dam. Because of this, the fish are less active and I don't believe there will be as many stockings as in prior years. Myself, I have caught over 300 wild trout in the local mountain creeks this spring - I will be at one of those. There are many natural springs in the local mountains - find em and you find the fish.
