I havent had much time to fish it lately and I have a Club tournament there Sat. It is supposed to be raining great! Anyone know whats going on there?Dave

3 of us fished castaic on sat. 3/8/03 on the water by 7:30.
fished in the fish arm water was cold 54 deg. saw 1 small bass
caught.  i would give this lake a couple of weeks.

Dave E-mail me at captcaliente@yahoo.com. I'm going to Castaic tommorrow.Have been catching good fish lately. The fronts comming in have been the best for me lately.If you're gonna pre-fish tommorrow I'll see you at the lake.

I was there on the 8th for a few hours of shore fishing at the dam. I caught three all while shaking jigs. I also tried senkos and jerkbaits for no luck. One of the fish was a crawdad eater, it had the sores in it's mouth. All regular sized. It was a soft bite, hard to tell if they were on. Good luck in the tourney.

Holy Crap. What a coincidence. I am going to Castaic tomorrow too, only I get to fish out of the back of the boat (that is if I don't take a header into the lake first). I am supposed to meet my friend at his house at like O'dark thirty. Tried to call him to make sure the trip is still on because of the weather but the line just rings and rings...He must be online posting some BS message.
