Hi, I am new to this forum

I live in Sacramento, CA and I bank fish from the sacramento river.
I'm not an expert fisherman, I just turned 16 and got my fishing liscene.

I am lookin for tips and advices about fishing. Like what time of the day to fish and what kind of bait.

I use sardines to fish and I mostly catch stripers right now, one catfish so far. I have an 8 foot MAKO rod, 25lb test line, and I use 4 ounce sinkers
