#10345, "Tips for Peck Road Lake"

Anyone fished Peck Road Lake recently with any success? I was up there for three hours today and got one hit on a topwater crank. I did see a beauty that had to go over 5# swim in front of me too. I know there are some fish there. Anyone willing to share any secrets?

If you search the archives you'll find some posts... but the consensus is that it's a very, very tough place to fish. I fished it two or three times last year and each time I walked away shaking my head. I'm not a bass fishing guru or anything... but that place is just plain tough. If you can pull some fish out of there, more power to you.

I've caught a couple nice fish there but if I had put the same amount of effort in to any one of the other lakes in the SGV I feel that my results would have been far better.
