Hey its me again, I want to go fishing tomorrow perhaps early in the morning if not late in the afternoon. I am coming from San Jose and I have a 2-3 hour driving radius max. Any good places to fish for stripper, lmb, catfish, anything... I was thinking more of going norcal to the delta but i've never been there anyone know a good place and could tell me where to go and what to take with me (lures, bait, etc.) I would appreciate it thx, my main focus would be stripper and lmb thx alot :)

Dude, fish San Francisco Bay. Stripers or Halibuts! I can not tell you spots cause I am not from there. Fish on bro!

lol i'm not much of a fan of saltwater fishing, i never fished from shore since the time i caught a seal on my anchovie and had to cut my line before i lost everything... lol like :/ i dont have the gear for that stuff so i was wondering if anyone knew anywhere freshwater like a stream, lake, reservoir anything thats hittin good rite now with lmb, trout, cats, crappie anything :)

I know you were trying to get some info before today, but in
case you're going fishing again soon, here's what I know:

 -Catfish are your best bet- lots of lakes are stocking them
weekly
 -Trout are really deep
 -Nightcrawlers seem to be working very well all around
 -try mackerel, chicken liver, or worms for catfish

 Ok, thats what I know as far as tips go - most of this info
is for lakes in the East Bay.  I spent today at Shadow Cliffs
- no luck for me, but I saw a few nice catfish caught, and
last week someone caught a monster! (I forgot if they told me
it was 22 or 30 lbs...)  I'm not sure about stripers.  What
about Coyote Reservoir?  I've caught some nice catfish there,
and my brother caught a great bass...used mackerel for
castfish near the boat launch, and Senko I believe for the
Bass at the very bottom of the Reservoir near lots of grass. 
Hope this helps...theres a few really cool lakes just south of
SJ, and also across the Bay.  I've been to several, but still
have lots of exploring to do.  Last year at this time I had
great luck over at Chabot on a boat using Mackerel - got 5
catfish in no time!  Good Luck

Oh yeah - about 3+ hours away, I recently went to New Melones
Lake and loved it!!

Sorry, but I'm pretty late with this tip, but you may consider it next time.
1. San Luis forebay for stripers, bass , and catfish. Use swimbaits
for stripers/bass and anchovies for cats/stripers.
2. California and Delta Mendota aqueducts by Hwy. 580 and Hwy.5 just
passed Livermore. Use chicken livers, anchovies, and swimbaits
for stripers and catfish. The waterflow is pretty strong so keep
that in mind.
3. Lake Del Valle in Livermore for catfish especially. There are
some trout in summer and some stripers as well. Largemouths and
smallmouths are pretty popular here as well. May need to rent
a boat to get awat from the crowds. The standard baits and lures
here.
