Hi there,

Just got some pics back from my trip up north. Fished on Sheep Creek, caught mostly chums, but managed to land a few like this dime silver coho salmon.

Pretty cool! I am thinking about bringing my wife and daughter on a fishing trip outside of California. Alaska is always the first place that comes to mind. Did you use a fishing guide?

Yeah, in a sense. My sister-in-law`s boyfriend does a lot of fishing around anchorage. Pretty much late spring through summer is the time to go, and just about any creek(even the one running through town) has some salmon. However, early summer is the time for the Kings, I just missed it while I was there. I`m planning to go again next year, earlier though.

Happy fishing, Kyle
