I realize this report is a little late, but i havent had time to post. Went to Casitas this past thursday and the bite was pretty good. I had 9 fish with the best one going about 7#s and the rest were 2 to 4 pounds. My fish were caught all over the lake and most of them came on the Assalt Double Shot worm. I also had a couple fish on the 3 inch and 5 inch Big Hammer swimbaits in Wookie Wacker, and Invader colors. It was a pretty good day.

Brian2,

That sounds like a good day on the water. I like reading reports on Casitas because I grew up in Ojai not far away and I fished there til I moved in 7th grade. That is an awesome lake, they actually have some BIG cats in there as well as good sized bass. I used to drill the panfish there as a kid. Anyways, good fishin to ya and by the way, I heard that the lake level was waayyy down, is this true and is it rising yet?? Just curious..

Tight lines
Brandon

The lake is pretty far down, they are using the third lauch ramp at the main ramp if that means anything too ya, and it looks like it isnt gonna get any higher this year and that could make things interesting.
