Got there around 5:30. Was the 6th car in line. Fished the Day Use 2 area following the trail to the left. It was a family outing today. We total 5 stripers weighing 2 - 5 lbs. We were using chicken liver and frozen (thaw) anchovie. Today the striper only wanted the anchovie. I landed 2 out of about 7 hard strikes. My wife missed a real good hit on her pole. My son caught one on his $15 outfit which we just bought for him on Wednesday. And my mom caught 2 including the biggest one. Left about 1 pm. Nice cool breeze with the sunny shining all day long. Be sure to bring umbrella and sun tan lotion if you're heading out there.

Hey Wang . Good going on those Stripers . You have a fishing partner for life (beside your wife ;-) ), lucky you. My wife doesn't fish... I never been to Skinner and like to try that place....If anyone have any tips/spots please pm it to me or post here, any info is greatly appriciated. Will be fishing from shore. Thanks. Khanh.
