They planted 900 lbs. of small trout at the West ramp and 900 at the lower lake today at 11:00am. Stripers are going to have a meal tonight with the moon out. Gary had 6 stripers all on blood worm, he said he got 2 about 10 lb on Sunday. Not to many guys were there today may be ten. I hope the stripers comes in tomorrow.

I fished the west ramp from about five to when we got kicked out and stuck a ten pounder just before close. They started going off after most of the people left. I also lost one and had a short strike about ten feet out. Definitely should be on tomorrow.

Went yesterday 4-6-04. Just focused on the trout. I went to the west ramp. Caught my limit but kept only 2 for a friend. Small trout only. Some one caught a 10 lb. striper (estimated size). Another caught a 3 lb. lm-bass on a senko. The lm-bass were sucking down some trout. Saw a few striper bursts. A striper would come in as close as being seen from the docks. Most bursts were coming from the north end of the dock out about 40 ft. (west ramp). I forgot to bring my bass rod. I should of really planned on fishing for bass & stripers! Oh well, I will plan on it next time. Soon.

I fished it for the last hour again today and although I didn't get any stripers I stuck my second ever "swimbait" largemouth. It was a five pounder that bit my new confidence bait. The cool thing was that it came on my last cast of the day. See Ya

Fished for trout and striper tuesday form 9:30 2:30 trout were biting on anything small.Striper were coming in next to the dock so I had a 6 inch ac plug that I never used and it followed it in on the third cast then I jerked it in on the next cast and about 10 ft. from the dock it hit it with full force and I only had it on for about 30 sec. and i got cut off 6 lb testis all I had I was about a 10 lbs. one of the guys next to me hooked up about 4 times but he only had 6 lb and was getting cut off. So I went down and got Gary he no sooner got there and he got that 10 lb.you saw hanging on the dock. Ed had two nice striper on his boat that he got trolling. By the way as soon as he left the stripers started to hit.
Went back this morning about 9:30 lots of trout but the bite was slow the striper were there but not like the other day only saw one striper caught by a guy on the boat. he sure had a unique way of fishing, he droped hes lure than took off for about 100 yds. with his bail open then he started his retrive. Why cast when you got a boat. By the way Gary had anothe striper today. on night crawler.
