Fishing has been easy here. Drop-shotting and darthead worms or Babybrushhogs. The problem with Anderson is the quality. This lake needs to be harvested badly. I suggest keeping fish under 1.8lbs or so. Thats the only way the fish here are going to grow. The quality has dropped off drastically at Anderson over the past few years. So if you like to eat fish please take them from Anderson. Myself I dont eat bass. Goodluck Sean:)

It seems that they got one hell of a spawn while the lake was closed and now they don't have the forage to support all of those hungry bass. Have you tried for kitties lately? I tried 3x and got nothing but bass. This used to be the best lake for big catfish in the area. It could just be that I wasn't in the best spots for the conditions (too many boat wakes). I'm going to try for them again soon but pick my spots more carefully.
Tight lines,
Wade

I dont fish for much other than bass and salmon. It just seems with all the closures here in the past couple of years the number of small fish have begun to dominate the lake, probably due to lack of forage. This lake could really use some grass of some kind, seems like thats the major differance between Anderson and the other four lakes in the area.
