Good job on the stripers. Maybe next time you'll get the big one.

Sliverwood or Pyramid?.wood closes the gate at 7...you can walk down from the top or the campgrounds and fish all night... i heard from several other BIG stripe hunters that this is the time to be there....after dark is when it all goes down! i would be cool to get a tube(or yak) in there after dark.....would keep ya away from the bears but then youd be dangleing your legs down their for that VW bus size catfish to grab! :D as far as Pyramid i have no clue...

PHISHuntR . When you were at Silverwood & saw some huge boiling and recently at Cleghorn were you on a boat or shore fishing ? I'm thinking about making a long drive to the Wood if i can cast to the boiling from shore . What time they open in the morning ? Thanks .

when you go through the gate you make the first left follow that all the down to the end.this is Cleghorn day use. they dump trout at the hand lauchramp.this whole shorline produces trout for the trout guys all day long. i have caught fish all along the shore both to the left down the bike trail and to the right of the ramp all the way back to the cove. they do shut the gates at 7pm sharp!good luck!

PHISHuntR

ps. if pyramids wide why make the long treck? you got all the strips you need closer too!!??
