The fishing wasn't as good as it has been for us. My wife and I caught some fish on the swimbait and topwater later in the day. We fished our usual spots with the swimbait and it only gave up one bass for me. However the topwater was good at about 8pm. I didn't try any earlier but I will next time. They seemed to be very active on the topwater. http://www.calfishing.com/dcforum/User_files/3d0e0ddd6fcc0d1c.jpg

Hey what color swimbaits are you using, and what size lead head? I've been up there the past couple of weekends and i can't get bit on the swimbait, is there any particular spot that you've had success with?

Bassman,
Some more good fish! Were these fish in the deeper water, too? Don't give away too many secrets!

Hi pete, the swimbait fish was in the white oak area where the flat drops off into the main lake. You have to get alot of weeds off the hook before you find fish. Once you find weeds off the break and pull a pound off the hook try and keep it right above the weeds and your there. We talked to some guys out there and they were just waiting for the topwater action. Topwater is a no brainer out there right now.
I'm using a dark back silver side with glitter and rainbow trout pattern swimbait.
