#909, "The ponds tonight."

Did ok tonight. I actually caught that hawg again tonight, got it on a 5" junebug Robo zipper. Later started throwing a black and blue rattling jig 'n pig. Caught the hawgs cousin (was around 6lbs) in the other pond. That was sweet, not only did I have 2 big fish, but one was out of the pond I never get anything in. Though later on I did get a tiny one also. Had one that was 2ish out of pond #1 (my favorite one) also on the jig 'n pig. Dumped two, one I never saw, the other spit the hook while backflipping. This all took about 4 hrs, the last 1/2 hour was another first for me. Nearing the end I saw a small bass roll on something. I wasn't getting bit, so I changed to a Zara Puppy, black and chrome. Tossed it out and down from where I'd seen that fish roll. After a bit of twitching and waiting, I had #5 jump on. It took me totally by suprise, and fought a decent fight for it's size. It was maybe 1.5lbs. Tried for another 1/2 hour, but that was it. Fun, except for the 2 hrs straight that I didn't get any to shore.
Is there a Betty Ford for this kind of thing? Amish Ed

Last night was a lot different than the last two nights. Though I only fished for 1 hour, I only had two bites. The second one I set the hook and wound up the worlds smallest bass. It was a whole 5", taken on a 4" Roboworm junebug zipper. Gotta love the zipper, though they're easier to love when they get big ones.
Topwater is sweet Wade. I would've gone high last night too if I had the time. Saw one jump right before I left.
