Dude, stay as far away from Perris as you can. They need to drop one of those bunker buster bombs on that place. I just got back and man that lake has totally gone to hell in a hand basket. Sunday the water was liveable with marginal clarity. Today it looked like Lake Elsinore in the summer. The whole lake is a giant bowl of pea soup. Algea bloom like I have never seen there before. I fished the launch ramp, the entire dam, sail cove, rock climbers and most of the south and east end and it was, expect for a few viewable pockets, totally green with algea. In some places like rock climbers I could have fished a grass frog the stuff was so thick. Here we are in the middle of april and there are like five fish in the entire lake on beds. Unless the DWP does something about the water, don't plan on it getting much better. In other words, spend your gas money on a trip to Castaic instead.

San Vicente is your best bet by far.
