Has anyone fished the lower recently? I'll be heading up there tonight. Will give a report unpon my return. With this front moving in it should be interesting.

I fished lower castaic friday(from shore)on sunday,from 6:00a.m. untill 10.Drop-shotting a roboworm I managed 1 two pound bass,other than that not much action.I saw no bass on beds,and most people I talked to didnt do too much better.

I should be leaving in about a half hour from now. Your response is not what I wanted to hear. However, I would give it all I got and see what happens.

Well I fished the lower like I said I was. Caught one all night. As I walked back to my car I saw a guy sitting on the rocks by the parking lot. He asked how I did so I told him. He told me he caught "tons" of fish. But, by his tone of voice he also said "dont come over here and ask me any questions". You guys know the type. So I just went to my car and went home. I'll give it a go next week. Oh by the way I caught one fish on a black worm tex rig.

Where did you catch the fish?

I am going tomorrow morning before work for a couple of hours with a coworker. Last week I caught two small largemouths in front of the swim beach.

I fished the swim beach area and in front of the large tree. Good luck hope you do better.

Well, I didn't end up going. I had to get an oil change on the truck before I leave for Big Bear friday for the weekend and I had no other time to do it.

My 2 fish came from about the center of the swim beach in about 19 feet of water, right near one of those white posts that are sticking out of the water.

Anyway, I will be going next Thursday however.
