Blue chalice there is a story on it with a pic of Bob holding his huge fish but I don't remember the website. I think it was www.angelfire.com/ca5/castaic/hugefish.art this should have the pic of his fish.

There was a picture in last months Field and Stream magazine. It's a picture of Bob with the fish already mounted.
I couldn't find the picture online, but there is a good article there about the next record bass. http://www.fieldandstream.com/fieldstream/fishing/freshwater/article/0,13199,447752,00.html

Also, check out www.trophybassonly.com

Go check out world record bass. They have lots of BIG bass, including Bob Crupi's 22lb.

Also, make sure you read about Paul Duclos' 24lb bass!

I always thought his 22 pounder was from Castaic?

Anyoneone remember that bass that was caught in San Diego that had the one pound lead weight in it's belly! What lake was that from? Henshaw?

I think that lake was Miramar that had the fish with the dive weights stufdfed in its stomach.

And that 22Lb fish caught by Crupi was caught out of Castaic. The one out of Spring lake was by someone else on a swimbait.

There is a 21pound bass Replica on the market(fiberglas Repro sold by taxidermist)....it measures around 27inches long...and I was wondering if anyone knows which bass this replica was molded from and who caught this one....I have noticed several 21pound replicas and they seem to be the same one with the same pose...

I found a photo of Dave Zimmerlee's 20 pound 15oz bass...it was a black and white photo...it was caught on June 23 in 1973 on Lake Miramar...but thats the only photo I have seen so far for a bass weighing close to 21pounds(that is an official photo published)...unless you take into consideration Mike's 20pounder for Dixon....
