Just wanted to say Merry X-mas to y'all. I was also curious to see what fishing related gift or gifts that you gave to yourself for Christmas - or what fishing related gift did you convince someone to buy for you. I know alot of you have a killer rod or reel you desperately want.....

My gift to myself is an overnighter out of Seaforth Landing next weekend.

Peace and happy holidays.

Well, I was going to indulge myself this year just like I always do. I usually buy myself a couple of cool things that I really wanted and then wrap them up and bring'em to Christmas marked to Dave from Santa. Then I get all excited in front of everyone when I open them. It's a real crowd pleaser... at least it pleases me! :D LOL

This year I'm trying a new technique. I emailed my family members my Christmas wish list in hopes that I didn't have to play Santa to myself this time. We'll see how it shakes out???

What I am hoping for is a Diawa Sealine 40 and or a Diawa 20. I already bought the rods and now I need reels so I'm hoping they got the hint. Wink.. wink... Nudge...nudge.... ;-)

I'm asking for tournament entry fees for x mas. As for buying stuff for myself, me and rob and #2 are gonna do some serious tackle hoing on wednesday, so I'll no doubt blow unbelievable amounts of money on things that I already have ;-)

I am getting myself two items. I am getting a GPS hand held unit. Time to start figuring out how to back to where I have been. I am also getting a large pressure cooker. I canned Albacore this year for the first time. The fish is outstanding, and I could not believe how easy it was.
