#10527, "tuna from local landings"

anyone have reports for overnighters from local landings for albies? such as toronado or aztec from pierpoint? i was trying to decide over pierpoint or driving all the way down to san diego. i've been checking the fishcounts for the local landings but wanted some personal feedback on how these trips are going. i know san diego crews do a great job but i've never been on a local tuna boat. if local crews do just as good a job it'd be much better to go on an albie trip locally considering it's closer, cheaper and american limits is 10. thanks in advance for all your replies.

No first hand info, but the counts look good. There is no albie limit in US waters btw.

the freedom out of 22nd street is doing real good on the albies... they were on a two day trip about a week ago and had 300 albies the first day!!!

but I think you should just drive down to san diego and go on an overnighter.
