#10591, "reel service"

in the past i've been pretty lazy about servicing my reels. i figured it'd be a good idea to start servicing them; clean, lube, replace drags, etc. haven't lost a fish yet due to poor reel performance but don't want to find out what that feels like. it's bad enough losing a fish 'cause stupid human error x(. anyways can anyone recommend a shop in or closest to the l.a. area that'll do a good job? thanks.

Yellowtail,

Bob Frazer does a fantastic job of servicing reels at Kenny's
Rod & Reel. He has resurrected many neglected reels to
like new condition (not that yours is in that bad a shape).
He has been servicing my reels for years and he has always
done a great job. Very happy with the service.

If that is to far away, try Savon and/or Bigfish Tackle.
