With the next round of the SWBA coming up next week it was time to get down for some prefish. Since neither of our regular teamates could go, Larry and I combined forces and made the run down Saturday morning. Neither of us had ever fished down that way, but who better then the legendary Calico Hunter to help find some fish. The fishing was good with about 35 or 40 bass for the day with a mix of Calicos and sand bass. Would of had about a 17 lb. bag with a sick kicker fish that came late that went 6.5 Lbs. on a rusty boga

Also had some sick bonita come through. Larry landed an 8 pounder and I dumped a bigger one right at the boat. Both Larry and I dumped big mystery fish that we never saw duirning the day. Mine got me in the kelp and Larry's couldn't be stopped on 20 lb.

All and all a great day and hope to do as well come Saturday.
