Fished West Beach and the Harbor area this morning. Lots of fog and clear water. Tried all of my standard Seabass holes with no results, so I switched over to the flatties. Tried cranks and Big Hammers by the sand spit and then near the wharf. Nailed a 25.5 inch flattie on a crank. Felt small at first and started to come right up and then took 3 consecutive runs before I got a look. about 10 min later I broke my reel and cut my day short. Saw a guy on the beach nail a 25 incher.

Hey Bryan - you own those spots now? :) I guess if you go by how many legal fish landed in the past few weeks you do... :) :)

Way to go on the legal flatty!
