#985, "Well which is it?"

So, here's the question. What is the weather going to be like this year, El Nino or La Nina? It seems like the verdict changes every month, so what has everybody else been hearing. El Nino is what I've heard lately, and the warmer water and general wet weather the last month seem to agree. But, we all know how quick it can change. Wadda ya think folks?

Ed,
I've heard El Nino. I'm not too sure though, and you bring up a good question. Maybe tomorrow I'll ask around a little bit.

Actually, I just read something in the paper, it is unofficialy, "La Nada"

The official term was something like, southern pacific occilation normal or something like that....

What it means is that we are half way between nino and nina, well, normal. I believe that it was in the SB news Press.
