When you guys use snaps for baits such as Triple Trouts and MS Slammers what type and size do you use? Or, do you not reccomend any type of snaps? Thanks

Wayne

Ive never liked snaps, but most all the lures do better if they free hanging and not tied direct. I went to large splitrings way back, Id consider the oval ones now if they make them big enough. You could probably use a GOOD QUALITY larger saltwater snap, but id be worried about them opening up and the size, I like to keep my baits subtle and not have a huge 2" snap swivel hanging off the front. It wont hurt to try and after a day of tossing you will know if they are ok or not.
