They are junk I bought one and caught one fish on it and now is all I have is the head. Not worth the money. I would rather spend my money a bettencourt real fish.

the only times i've ripped them is when i catch a fish and lift them out of the water with the rod to grab it. everytime, i lip the fish while it's still in the water, the bait stays intact.

Junk or not able to stant up to the violent strikes it draws? Every one is complaining about how a fish wrecked their bait. Seems to me this bait is doing its job. It is drawing strikes, and from the sounds of it some pretty violent strikes. lots of times smaller fish will tail grab a bait if you swing on one of those you will most likely lose your tail on most baits. You might try and wait until you feel the weight of the fish befor you swing. This gives fish a chance to get the whole bait in its mouth. You will miss a few bites this way but they will most likely be smaller fish. If one of those six bites was a 10+ I bet you would feel a little different.

The new Platinum baits have a mesh running through the middle of the baits to keep this from happening. The magnet is also solid mounted in the weight harness. Jason has worked to fix the problems in the first run of baits. He has taken care of the people also, so contact him before you bash the baits. All the bait makers are trying hard to bring baits for us to fish and they have all had their problems, Huddleston-paint, Rago-tails, Spro-fins, Castaic-joints they all fixed the problems for US.

First off I am not bashing anyone, I am bashing the quality of a $15 lure that should hold up to more than one strike or fish.sorry but I gave these the benifit of the doubt and tried SIX times with only ONE fish hooked up that was a $120 rat sorry but that doesnt fly...I have tried many brands of swimbaits and this ONE model from castiac is no good plain and simple I love most of their other stuff and have quite afew OLD castiacs that have alot of fish on them and I still use them today....as far as contacting someone before bashing them, Tried already havent heard a word?..I would love to be taking care of on the three I saved pieces from but doesnt look like thats going to happen..everyone is always so upset when someone states an opinion about a friends product ,But it just that its my opinion but apperantly a few people have had the same issues so it answered my question? didnt mean to piss anyone off I just wanted to state my frustration about this matter sorry But I am pissed I lost $120 in tackle and I cant afford that kind of loss....anyways.....

6 x 15 = $90. The new mesh should eliminate the problem. I have NEVER had a problem with Jason's customer service. He stands behind his product.

if you cut the tail off, it works as a good replacement for when the tail on the TT gets chewed off... atleast thats what i've done with all 4 of my little plat's. i'm all out of tails now though :o

Not pissed, just trying to help. I don't know how you tried to contact Jason, but he is in Mexico a lot and His wife is going to have a baby so I know he is busy. I will call him tomorrow and see if I can help you. I just don't like the title you used( JUNK ) when the guy is making changes to make us a better bait.
