I have been looking into buting some large trout plugs that are made for Muskie fishing. Most of them have rattles in them. Do you think that this will hurt or help their potential to catch Largemouth? I know that rattles can help jigs, worms, and cranks but I have never heard a trout rattle, which makes me think that it might not be a good idea to have a rattling trout plug.
Call me naive, but I say if you "think" it might work... go with your gut and give it a try. What can it hurt? I'm new at this, but one thing I've gathered is that sometimes bass turn off on certain patterns becuase they get clued in and trying new things just might get you some fish.
if you are talking about the kalins? one that looks like a ac plug, it has a removable rattle in the tail. its cool. so if u like the rattle you can leave it, or take it out. patrick

That is one of them. I was not aware that the rattle was removable. I am also looking at the Musky Innovations Invader both the deep diver and the shallow diver.
