#10668, "State record bluegill at Fishermans Warehouse in Sac"

Jared posted a picture of this fish the other day, the pic doesnt do it justice. If you have the chance I would suggest going over to take a look at it, its unbelievable. It has a very odd shape but most of all I noticed the very long, pointed pectoral fins. Ive never seen fins like that on a bluegill and it makes me wonder if that fish has some level of hybrid in it. Ive personally held two NJ state record bluegills each just over 3 lbs, this one goes close to 4 and is amazing.

Matt show us your world record goldfish! That fish was huge, and the fins on that thing were just crazy long.

Dont most hybrid bluegills have orange or white on the tips of there pectorals and/or dorsal?

I was able to stick this one on a 4 inch senko in 2001.
Redear Sunfish 2.63 lbs, 14.5 inches long. It was 2 tenths off the state record. To give you some size context, there is a sunflower seed hull on the side of the fish in the bottom picture
