North Bay mountains could see 10 inches of rain and downtown San Francisco could collect 5 inches of rain by Sunday, Bell said. Small, isolated urban floods are likely, but Bell said he didn't expect any major flooding.

"The storm is coming directly from the west, lots of subtropical moisture," Bell said. "There's an atmospheric river coming directly toward the coast."

Sounds like epic fishing weather to me. I hope I'm not the only one who's checking out of work early today to hit the water before this storm arrives :-)

and next the mass amounts of driftwood will appear and the motor shops will get busy replacing lower units and selling props.

Bring on the rain but be safe on the water
