I had a great trip at Coyote yesterday and finally got my night-time double digit for this fall. The fish went 11.7 lbs and hit a 12 inch MS Slammer on the surface. Details at the link...

Those both were some hogs!So you were basically slow trolling that brush hog,that's cool!

I was wondering what was the deal with the stick,you didn't weigh that fish with the stick,did you.. ;-) Great report Nico!

What size and brand hooks do you use on your 12".Thanks

Nico, do you use the stick to whack the girl to slow her down? I haven't tried that yet, but maybe that's why I haven't landed a bass that big!!

Nico,
Another nice fish!!! Saturday, the Ranger at Calero told me that Coyote was closed to boats. Since you were out their in your kick boat, do you know if they are letting car top boats on ?

The lake is open to any hand-launched boat as far as I know.

What a great looking fish ! Good job ! ...... but now I know the secret.... next time I go out, I am going to find a stick just like that one to attach to my trout lure ! :-) Thought you were going to slip that one by me, huh ? LOL
