My pops has been looking out for me. Last spring when I was catchin the big ones and moaning about working the small scale hook under the fished gill plate he put a new hook on my scale. Well after forget all about it I ran across my scale as I was getting stuff ready and then today I saw what the hook were called in the hardware store. The hook looks the same as the origional scale hook but is 3-4 time bigger. Just remove the origional and split ring the new one on. The Hooks is a Paint can hook at either Home Base or Orchard. It will Tare on Digital scales. I put one on each of my old and new rapala/normark scales. Truely a big fish tip.
