I've seen that before, though on bigger units!! If you have ever kept a bass (or grouper, many types of cichlids, etc.) lots of predators get in this situation- reminds me of a killer miniatus grouper I had that thought a dwarf lionfish (aren't fish supposed to know they are poisonous?) would make a nice meal- pulled the dead lion out of his mouth (tons of spikes on those guys, what was he thinking?) and somehow he survived about 6 months half paralized- seemed like the muscles on one side of his body were not working, go figure.
