That's right, 2 in one outing. Coyote Lake, White Snagproof Tourney Frog, 8#s and 2 casts later 8.25#s, South side of Calaveras Bay, 6:15 PM, from my Kickboat, AWESOME!! 5 casts later I saw a trout breakwter and threw a Castiac Golden Shiner Swimbait to the area for an instant hook-up which was thrown a few seconds later on its first jump. I'm guessing it was only around 5.5#s. I'll hang a 10 this year, I know it.

Thanks CT! I actually set 3 goals in Decemder last year. 1) to make 156 (3x52 weeks)fishing excursions, 2) to get a 10#+ LM and 3) to get a 8#er on a Jig. Yesterday's trip to Shadow Cliffs made 168 different excursions, I got my 11.9 and now I just have to learn to get a fish on a Jig. I've only caught 4 fish on jigs and none of them have broken 12", so this goal may be the hard one. Are there any good jig fisherman willing to take me under their wing?
