bigger is not always better. the baby bass has been getting me some really good fish for a few month now. the only problem with these baits is the fins fall out as does the bill. the tails stay in for alot of fish and are easy to replace. i thin they are great baits.

Saw the baits in person today at Walton's Pond in San Leandro. I thought they looked pretty good until I saw them in person. They look GREAT but are WAYYYY too small! I could see 2 pounders smacking them all day but not much over 7 wasting its time.

it might be different over there in Cal., but i know that an 8 pounder over here would love one of those babies. My dad caught an 8.5 on a 2 inch sassy shad!

But it is mostly about lure placement rather than size, but you are right that a 10 pounder wouldnt move far for it, but they never move far most of the time.

Man, i want to get a hold of the baby bass color and the siver one (shad). The price is holding me back.

6 inch is perfect for over here!!!

Does the bill fall out often?????

BEN

god bless

I'd imagine the bill could just be glued in place better. And I agree, where you're at I think the size is right. Splurge and buy one man. Check out their sunfish pattern too, its a pretty neat looking bait.
