Just a heads up to those who are thinking of purchasing swimbait rods or swimbait reels. There is a store in the Southeast corner of Watt Ave. and Auburn Blvd. (cant remember their name) that is selling good rods and reels (including Calcuttas and Cardiffs) for 20% off. They only have the crucial swimbait rods right now. I picked up a 7.0:1 Curado with a St. Croix Avid for an excellent price. For those thinking of making an expspensive purchase, now is a good time to do it.

The store is primarilly a duck hunters type place, but they are trying to get up to speed with the bass crowd. They have some good stuff. Way I figure it, if we can support them, they get more stuff, then we dont have to drive all the way over to the other side of town (and sit in that horrible traffic) to go to Fishermans Warehouse.
