i got a ideal that would be a fun tournament i think, it would be tight if we had a team teen vs team old farts, LOL, the teens of b-n-t VS the grown ups of b-n-t (18+) he he, i think we teens can put up a good battle.
it could be the top 5 fish from one team are weighed, each tuber just keeps the largest fish they catch, so lets say a team has 12 people, outta the (lets just say)12 fish that the 12 people brought in, the 5 heaviest fish are weighed(other 7 gets released), that way it is fair because there might be more grown ups then teens, so both sides has the top 5 heaviest fish weighed, so it wont matter how many ppl are on each team,it could be 5 teens vs. 20 adults, its sounds fair to me. that would be a fun tounrament.

we need atleast 5 to a team to do my idea, i just like the idea of having 2 teams battle, i feel it would be really fun. he he, but i still like the teenager vs grown ups idea, i think we could dicuss it at the meeting in the beggining of the year, im sure all the B-n-T'ers would love to have a tournament like this. since B-n-T has various delta tournaments i think if we have this done, it should be on the delta. we got enough teens down for sure, but im sure we would have enough for a team event.

What about BNT vs. Sonoma? I don't know how many anglers each side could muster, but if we could get any even match, it might be good fun. Good way to help out fellow club members too. No major competition or anything, just good fun.

Give the $500 to our team right now cuz even with 2 people we'd still whoop ya!!!LOL No but seriously, David's idea is pretty cool, another good one would be to do a draw (or choose) team tourney with partners where each team weighs in 7 fish and we could up the anty (I don't know how to spell that) a little. Whaddaya say?

A real team tourny would be tough because the partners would have to be fishing real close,there are few people that are willing to travel as far as Darce and I do.What if I get a tuber then I have to tow him,with a livewell full of water I dont think so.

Do you row to a specific spot right after kick off like you would in a normal bass boat? I always just figured you were just out of sight around a bend or somethin! Crap it's almost 11:00, oh well, gotta get back to school.

We have been known to spend 1hour+ just oaring to get to our water then fish and oar back. most of the time its like oar 10-15 min. fish 5min. oar 1/2 hr fish 15min. so on so forth all day long we spend more time oaring them fishing but the water we do fish is money spots and allways hold fish

DaAMMM… 18 and older you consider an old fart? You boys are out for some huh? I like this idea. Keep that motivation and thoughts. By this next years meeting we could hash out all the details. For now we should start to build momentum for the Clearlake Invitational w/t the Sonoma Boys. Sure would like to see BNT in the top five spots.
