Are there any sites out there that I could check out regarding float tubing? I have never owned or fished from one, so I would be starting from square one.

There are a couple of books, but mostly deal with fly fishing from a float tube, but do cover the basics. This is probably the best float tube message board out here. www.bassresource.com has a couple of articles about float tubing and some even better bass fishing articles overall.
