Well, fished the upper lake for only 2 16" bass. They were not the usual spirited kind. Heck, they hardly put up a fight. The weather was great, meaning the winds were calm, but the fishing was slow. Of course, that's because I refuse to use shad. Why kill a fish to catch a fish that you are going to release?

Wheere did you catch your fish at on Sunday? What did you get them on? Any info is appreciated.

Did you take the kickboat out? I remember you were asking a while back if you were allowed to on the upper lake.

Yes, I did take the kickboat to the upper lake. :7 :7 :7 The lifeguards were very nice about it. I informed them about what the superintendent (sp.) of parks for castaic had emailed me. Then they figured it was because a kickboat is a boat and not a float tube.

Caught the fish dropshotting in 15 feet of water. One on a MM and the other in a A. Magic. I think it was between second and third coves north of main ramp.

COOL. Thanks for going where no kickboater has gone before :) Now we know. It's like $15 or $16 to get on the water isn't it? Don't think I'll go any time soon, but it's good to know we have another prospect.

7 or 8 to enter and 6 to launch. Don't know since I buy the county's annual passes for both car and launch.
