Due to unforeseen circumstances there has been some changes made to the weigh-in/check-in for the Clear Lake Open. We will still have two launch locations to make sure we spread people out but we will now have one weigh-in location which will be M&M campground. There will still be a split so anglers will switch launch locations each day.
Launch locations are as follows:
Location #1 is Island Drive launch ramp
Location #2 is M&M Campground
Day 1:
location #1 will be at Island Drive launch, run by Paul Mibach / Scott Rouhier and will run as follows:
Check-in will be 5:30 am with launching no later than 6 am.
Weigh-in will be at M&M campground at 3:30 pm allowing you ample time for you to travel form the launch location to the weigh-in location.
Day 1:
location #2 will be at M&M campground, run by Mitch Teman/Dave Monteio and will run as follows:
Check-in will be 5:30 am with launching no later than 6 am.
Weigh-in will be at M&M campground at 3:00 pm.
Day 2:
location #2 will be M&M campground, run by Paul Mibach/Scott Rouhier and will run as follows:
Check-in will be 5:30 am with launching no later than 6 am.
Weigh-in will be at M&M campground at 1:00 pm
Day 2:
location #1 will be Island Drive launch will be run by Mitch Teman/Dave Monteio and will run as follows:
Check-in will be 5:30 am with launching no later than 6 am.
Weigh-in will be at M&M campground at 1:30 pm allowing you ample time for you to travel form the launch location to the weigh-in location.

Not to stir up a hornet's nest or anything, but how are we going to get the fish to weigh-in? By car? Isn't that considered "running" or "transporting" which is against BNT's rules and DFG's?
Or do we launch from Island Drive and then get to M&M to weigh in by 3:30PM.

Terry If you launch from Island Drive and then get to M&M to weigh in by 3:30PM or 1:30PM if your at island dr on sunday. You have to get to M&M via water (aka float tube, kickboat, kayak)

You need to get to M&M by your assigned weigh in time by kicking or rowing your boat to the weigh in site - no on land transportation. The two sites if you are not aware are not very far from each other, but will help spread folks out a little more than having to have everyone blast out of the same spot.
