Group, the time has arrived. Here are the details.

WHERE: Beacon Harbor is the starting point
CHECK IN: 5:00 AM - 6:00 AM
BLAST OFF: "Safe Light", Approximately 6:30 AM out of Beacon Harbor
WEIGH-IN: 2:30 PM at Russo's
COST: $75 ($50 is a tax deductible donation to Restore the Delta and CSPA, the remaining $25 will be paid back 100%)

The kickboats will launch and weigh-in approximately 30 minutes before the boats in order to ease congestion. All three divisions, boats, fly-fishing, and kickboats will all weigh-in at Russo's.

There will be food for all anglers and a raffle at the weigh-in. Bring your headlamps.

This is a great opportunity to support the people that are fighting for the necessary water in the CA Delta / SF Bay for ALL FISH.

Thanks,

Mike F

Hey Mike,

I will have my sign up sheet in the mail tomorrow. Since kickboaters are launching from Beacon, is there a launch fee? If so, do we pay Beacon directly or you? See you on Sunday.

Robert

Hey Rob I don't think we are supposed to mail our entries in. See below.

Guys,

We'll go out at "safe light". The "safe light" period always exists before the sun come up,. The kickboats wil launch out of Beacon Harboar at approximatley 6:30, weighing in at 2:30.

The boats will blast off out of Russo's at approximatley 7:00, weighing in at 3:00.

Also, the sign up through the RTD website is designed for a boat team tourney. The inidividual kickboat tourney anglers will pay their entry fee on the morning of the tournament. Don't bother trying to sign up online.

Thanks,

Mike F

I'm going to pay the launch fees out of my own pocket, so the $75 per head will cover everything. You can email the sign-up sheet or fill it out Sunday AM. Either way is fine with me. Kickboats get out early... how's that for preferrential treatment?

Barbeque will include tri-tip sandwiches, sausages, and a few side dishes. The raffle will include a 7'4 KVD signature glass/fiberglass crankbait rod, a Quantum Energy, some SnagProof gear amongst other items.

Raiders/49ers will be playing at Candlestick on Sudnay afternoon, so the Yayhoo factor should be reduced. It should be a relatively quiet day on the water. There are no other tournaments in the Contra Costa region of the Delta.

The tides are as follows:

High 12:59 AM 2.4
Low 8:01 AM 0.1
High 2:22 PM 2.8
Low 8:15 PM 0.7
