Im looking for some feedback for a fishfinder for my kick boat. What has been proven and what to stay away from. Any help would be appreciated

You can use any type that u can attach to ur kick boat. I use the hummingbird 160 or 180 something like that. They are small and there is a couple others that are small and in color that are simaler. Some guys have the fishing buddy type that will attach to almost anything. Basically I think what most if us have are the small compact type. Nothing more than a couple hundred at most.

Taylor nailed it. Just about any compact 12 volt graph should be fine.

I installed an Eagle FishMark 320 on my kickboat and have been very happy with it. The only thing I would do differently next time is get a color graph. The links below are to forum topics regarding the project and pics in the rigging gallery.

Everybody uses different models and they are all custom rigged so really no 2 are the same. If you do a forum search for fish finder there should be a lot more information out there from others.
