I sneaked out to Lexington again for 1.5hr Thursday. I caught one 3.8lber on a Red Happy-Hog. I lost one other to a head shake (should have kept his head down) about the same size.
These fish were in 1-2ft of water in the south end of the Res. I saw some guy carry a stringer of Bass from the same hole. Bummer! They were definitely spawning.

Awesome, I might give it a shot there within the next week. Last time I was there a few weeks ago it seemed like the fish were just beginning to move into the shallows. I got two 4's, a 5, and 2 small dinks today up real shallow too, small private pond though :)

Nice fish I may have to go out there saturday morning. For those b-n-t people speedyg is one of my 3 brothers and is looking forward to fish at one of our tourneyments. He may join us at clear lake next month.
