I'm about 90% done on mine - just trying to do a fun butt wrap and don't have the thread I need. Just need finish on the guides and I can fish with it though. Hopefully I'll be ready to fish it the second week of the year. Let me know if you have had a chance to use yours yet!

I took it out the last two days. Didn't use it much but I liked it a lot. It's a heavy duty rod for sure but it casts the 9 inch plug like a 1/4 oz crankbait. Well maybe that's exaggerating, but it really does chuck the plug without much effort. My only regret is that I had Pete do the handle 15" which is a little bit long. I just need to take it and use it all day, and then I'm sure I'll be used to it. Any rod is like that.
