Way to go Todd. I would have liked to give you a run for your money, but the fish weren't helping me much. My fish report for sonoma goes like this. Not one bite all day long. I even tried drop shotting Poe Plugs. Oh well, next time things will be different, I hope.

It was a tough day for many. Feels good to win again at my favorite lake but wish more people would have caught fish. Gotta also thank Mr. Bill as if it wasn't for him I probably would not have been able to recover my rod & reel! Thanks Bill!

Since you've been in the club, Todd, we've had 6 tournaments at Lake Sonoma. You've won five of them. And you finished 2nd in the other. My hat's off to you, dude. There's a lot of good fishermen in the club these days, & how you keep doing it is amazing. How did you catch your fish? Lake Sonoma has been pretty good to me, but I threw everything at them but the kitchen sink & could only come up with two bites all day long.
You've got to fish in Scott Green's "King of Sonoma" tournie next year. I wasn't around during Jimmy Reese's heydays with the club, but I've never seen one guy dominate so much on one lake. You haven't done too bad on the other lakes, either.
That was a tough bite. I think our 32 combined to catch 42 fish or so. About 75% of the guys caught one fish or less.
But 32 anglers? That's amazing, too. Who woulda thunk it? Good to see so many new faces.

Congratulations Todd! My fishing report goes just like rich's. What a humbling experience. Funny you mentiong drop shotting a Poes plug. I had a drilled and weighted Poes 300 that i used when i fished sonoma a lot that would work when fish were suspended. Crank it down and long pauses would work on some tough fish. Not saturday. I couldnt geven get bit split shoting little stuff. I had fun and looking forward to the next tournament.
