The final BNT travelers region tournament for the 2003 season is on the Delta at Beacon Harbor this sunday the Nov.9th. Check in time will be at 6:00am at the launch ramp. Weigh in time is at 3:00.

Directions:
From the Bay Area:
Take Highway 80 east to Highway 24 east.
Proceed to 680 north, continue on 4 east to Oakley,
turn left on Cypress Road. Left on Bethel Island Road,
right on Gateway Road, left on Piper Road, left on Willow Road.
Beacon is on the right.

From Sacramento and the San Joaquin Valley:
Take Interstate 5 South to Highway 4 west.
Follow 4 west to Oakley, turn right on Cypress Road.
Left on Bethel Island Road, right on Gateway Road,
left on Piper Road, left on Willow Road.
Beacon is on the right.

From San Jose:
Take 680 north from Milpitas/Fremont area.
Proceed north to 580 and exit east. Take Vasco Rd.
exit off 580 and turn north.
Proceed through Brentwood via Hwy. 4 and turn right
on Gateway Road,
left on Piper Road, left on Willow Road.
Beacon is on the right.

Well I don't think this one is gonna work for me now. The Caddie is down! A lady ran a stop sign and I nailed her the whole front of the white beast is *&%$ed up. At least she fessed up to going through the sign so i don't think there should be any problems getting this settled, but it sucks on the short term.

With a new boat? :)

Yes, I do own a new kickboat (Josh's old one). Josh dropped it off at my cousin's house in Antioch last night. I plan to pick it up on the way home from Beacon Harbor on Sunday. My cousin lives right off of Hwy 4, over by Contra Loma Reservoir, so it's pretty much on the way out, anyway, which is cool. I'd fish the tourney with it, but I don't want to be figuring out all the 'bells & whistles' on it in the dark, on the water, Sunday morning.

Big question now is, do I turn around & sell Josh's at a (slight) profit, since he gave me such a good deal on it? (I obviously don't need a second k'boat; I just couldn't pass up such a sweet deal, and I think it helped him out by not having to pack it up & take it with him to Texas). Or, do I sell my Outcast for **cheap**, and go with the newer, higher-capacity rig (I'm not getting any skinnier, y'know :+ ), with its fancy 12-volt accessories, livewell, nicer rodholder, etc.


Decisions, decisions...I'll let y'all know which way I decide to go!
