If we hurry, whoever holds the DFG permit can maybe get in touch with region 3 and see about swapping to another lake. I'm pretty sure every lake around is going to be up and muddied, but I would suggest changing to Blue Lakes, because they are the least likely to get blown up really bad due to this weather. Spring, Sonoma, Clear, Highland Springs will all be blown to hell, and they won't settle very quickly. Last year when we had that big storm that dumped like 18 inches up here, Blue Lakes stayed fishable while everything else was blown out.
One thing though, if we make any changes, we need to do it pronto, and not wait and see what happens at Spring Lake, or we may not be able to do anything at all. Mr Pres gets a tough decision first tourney out! You go boy!
The number to DFG is 707-944-5500, and they should be able to authorize a pen and ink change to the permit if we get ahold of them fast enough.
Gimme a call at home at 707 987-0963 any time today, and I can help you out with the DFG end of it.

This is my first tournament, and my first meeting was this month. Are you going to be calling all of the members regarding this information? Do we find out about last minute plans through the forum or does somebody tell us? Go big or go home.
