Mr Swampy, I saw your post about clear lake on Monday. Didn't
I say that was going to happen? (fish turn on and great weather).
One of these days, I'll be able to catch fish and weigh one inside
the tournament.

I'm up for doing the quarry pits for some smallies that you were
talking about. Would also be up for something else too. I'm doing
more kickboat mods as a couple of things worked, but could be set
up better. I live in San Jose. by the arena/downtown. Let me know.

I am heading up to my in-laws cabin in Mi Wok villiage so I will try and hit up one of the lakes up there (Pedro, Melones, McClure, Tulloch) I may have to take some newbeies fishing so I may not be alboe to do as much fishing as I would like but I am going to get a line wet if it kills me.

Fishing the old parkway lakes.
Metcalf/coyote pond.
Delta MR Night time Stripers / Daytime Green fish.
Might also sneak a night trip to Almaden.

If you can tell all these places are far away from any yahoos. :)

See you on the water

Not sure but I might be able to fish Saturday. Got BBQ's Sunday and Monday. Either MR or Pinto would likely work for me...MR being first choice.

It's middle river in the delta.:) We launch alot of tournaments from the rock barrier there.Good fishing and no boat traffic makes this a nice spot to fish in the delta especialy when all the yahoos get on the water.:+

I have to work this weekend otherwise I would love
to fish with you guys. I was planing to fish Lexington
friday morning. I have fished this lake the last few weeks
and have found alot of fish, mainly crappie and small
bass. I would suggest drop shot on the 880 side close to
the dam and ranger station. Anything color of dark blue
or crawfish. Hey Larry how is my old kickboat treating
you, I hope you are having as much fun with it as I did.
I just bought a new one. I'm planing on fishing one of
the next couple of tourneys. I will post my finding this
friday.

Best Fishes
Gene :)

Swampy, OK, MR on Sat and Sun the quarries. I'll see you on Sat
and we can make plans for Sun. My phone is 408-298-0902.

Gene, Good to hear from you. I saw your post about getting
another kickboat (good deal). I have had some problems, but have
got them all fixed now. I've put a plexiglass rear deck on, running
light, live well, and the mods continue. I was thinking of changing
my handle to "boxer dude" (har har), Hope to see you out with the
gang soon.

I'll be launching at Calpack Rd at the point where you can get
down to the water easier. I'll try to get there at 6AM. Low tide
is around 10 so early is better. I'll see you there and we'll
make plans for Sun.

I wish I could fish the delta this weekend. Instead I'll have to be content to catch bluegills with the kids and to dropshot and crank little smallies at Tulloch while watching the scenery :7

Dang, I wasn't planning on taking the kickboat 'cuz launching it at my friends house is such a pain. I'll have to re-think that now. An early morning topwater bite is something I hadn't considered. That would make the launch worthwhile. Hmmmm, maybe a little night fishin too.

i think thats down towards the river, if so look on a map, there is a couple ramps down that way to get in at and the further up the river you go the better. Look for the weed beds...HOOK UP!

Sacto, I don't know if I can plan my fishing times this weekend. With all the other stuff going on and I'm just gonna have to play it by ear. Whereabout are you going to be? If I can get out Sunday evening I'll look for you. If you see a kickboat with bright blue Outdoor Engineering pontoons that will be me. Hmmmm, spook...

I am staying up the road (Hwy 108) at Wi-Wuk Villiage. Poker Flat is the general area of the lake I like to fish. A different area from where you guys fished the Tourney last year. Lots of dock filled coves up that way. If you can make it further up the river the largmouth can be stacked up there. If you get stuck fishing the middle of the day or if you are fishing with kids tie on a 1 1/2 - 2 inch white or peral grub on a small lead head and go to town on the smallies, crappie, and blugill. Just cast and real back slowly. I may fish Tulloch or Pedro or McClure or salt Springs I have not made up my mind. If I do head up there I will keep my eyes peeled.

Lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what have-yous

Can someone bring their valve adapter for the Outdoor Engineering
pontoons. I will bring both my Blue Heron and OE pontoons and would
like to try my set up with the OE pontoons (if I had a way to pump
them up).

Hey guys,

On Monday I was going to try White Slough, but I do not know how to get there. If some can point me in the right direction I'm in Concord. This is where SCBBBC next tournament is and I wanted to get some ideas.

Thanks,

From Hwy 5, Take Hwy 12 West (approx 15min above Stockton),
Left on Guards Road. Guards Rd becomes the levy road of Whites
slough. Good Luck. Let us know how you do. This is where BnT
usually does it's tournaments when they do Whites.

Thanks Larry,

I'll make a report Monday night or Tuesday. How did you end up doing at Clearlake? I didn't end up catching anything until Jerry from the release boat threw me some predator worms and in 30 mins I caught 6 fish and one keeper. It made my day, before that I had no bites for three days.

I hope everyone has a good and safe holiday, and fish well.
