I don't think you can night fish at any of the santa clara county lakes anymore.;( If you want to avoid the crowds you could try the back lakes at shadow cliffs or pinto.Good luck out there and stick some fish!

You can still legally fish at Coyote, Chesbro and Uvas. At Chesbro and Uvas you will have to park on the side of the road, as they lock the gates at the entrance to the parking lot to close the launch. Legally, all vessels (that includes tubes and kicks) must be off the water at sundown.
Tight lines,
Wade

You can fish til you can't see your hands in front of your face at the PERC PONDS off Coleman & Meridian! There's a string of ponds to choose from, some connected by concrete spillways (I go in at the fence at the end of Seifert, which comes in off Blossom Hill -- check mapquest). It's kind of a chore getting your gear to the water, but it's a tradeoff you make when you want that fish-til-dark capability (and real close to home for me, to boot!). :D

But, SSSSHHH -- DON'T TELL ANYONE! :+

Ive fished the main pond at the park, but not in the past 6 years. I fished just around the coleman overpass, but havent been back since the tules have been removed. Do you prefer the smaller ponds?AQny quality?Try my e-mail if you dont want to post. Thanks Sean

Kickboat all the way, although I've caught some from the banks over the years, as well. Got a 4.8 last time out in one select (not the park!) pond in the neighborhood which I won't go any further to identify -- just one of about 7 or 8 ponds in a 2-mile radius or so. My biggest from the ponds overall, a couple of years ago, was a 6.2, although I've heard tales of double-digits coming out of there in years past. Numerous 2's & 3's, plus lots of smaller dinks, with plenty of opportunity to practice your Delta flippin' skills in the tules. All this just a few blocks from home -- you'd think I was living in *Stockton* or something!!! :7

Oh, well, I think I've divulged enough here. Get out there & do a little exploring of your own. You may be pleasantly surprised!
