Word on the street is that the there is a pretty good bite at Isabella. One of the guys buddies reported catching around twenty 3-4 pounders along with a few in the 5-6 range. I'm toying with the idea of teaching myself another lesson and hitting it up this weekend.

Where have you had the best luck in the past? I've never had any. Seems to me that the best areas might be Boulder/French Gulch area. I think there may be some off-shore humps/rock piles out there. I read a sort of recent report on WesternBass.Com that they caught some in the North end. I've fished that area and it seems pretty non-descript. I suppose they could be congrigating in the channel. Where ever that might be. Other than that, it's pretty flat up that way. Would you be interested in hitting it up?

Yeah. It's a two dayer and I'm not sure if I feel like messing with it. I've been doing terrible this year anyhow. Just not really into it for some reason.

Well Jason isn't running it anymore. BJ, the guy that won the Flowmaster at the Open is. Not really doing much fishing at all this summer. Went to Colorado a couple of times on business also. I'm headed back on the 27th for the last time for 1 1/2 weeks. San Anton huh? That lake kicked my butt last time in February. I caught ZERO. It did turn on later in the day for most. I think the boat tourney did O.K. up at the opposite end of the lake that day. I like Naci better myself. Just more fun. Plus, we could rent the condos like last time. I don't know. I'll let BJ know of your intentions. I think it's a great idea either way. When do you start applying for permits? I like fishing and hanging out with our fishing bretheren from the North. Let's hook it up!

BJ should do a good job, I actually sent him an email asking if he got the flowmaster yet and havent heard back. I know he wasnt able to get in touch with Kevin at SCBBBC to get it. Last I talked to him was like mid July and he still didnt get a call back or email, nothing. Hope he got it
