I am just getting interested in Kick boat fishing and was wondering if there are many fisherman in the Sacramento area using this method. Can you give me some of the cons to fishing with a kick boat? Thanks in advance.

There are some guys from the Sac area. I'm sure they'll answer soon.
One drawback of a kickboat is speed. You have to row them.
One advantage is stealth. You can get a lot closer to the fish without spooking them.

Lots of other pros and cons but those are two biggies.

I think that 'speed' is only a drawback if you are comparing them to a boat with a motor. They are WAY faster than a tube :7

I don't know where your planning on fishing at but if your wondering if many guys fish the delta out of kickboats, there sure is. Bass-n-Tubes has a delta region and our next event is going to be June 4th a saturday, at Middle River. Your more than welcome to come on out and fish with us if ya have a tube or your kickboat by then, or just to get some real good ideas about boat set ups and see what can be done with a kickboat. If you want to even try and take a spin on one to see how it feels just let me know.
