Fished middle river saturday with a few other guys. There only wound up being 5 of us brave enough (or dumb enough) to fish in the wind. It was windy when we launched before the sun even came up. And it just got worse as the day went on.

Nothing special about the day. I caught 13 fish by 2 pm. Only 12 were bass. Dave and Clint said they think the other was a Sacramento Perch :9 Started out with a couple of different top water for nada. Threw the blade for about 20 or 30 minutes. Nada. Grabbed the flipping rod. Started catching fish :-) Never put it down after that. My biggest fish of the day came pretty early. Didn't weigh her, but she was right about 5 lbs. Looked like she was just finishing up with her spawn.

Had a good day, but the wind really kills my knees. Didn't get to fish Sunday, knees were too sore. :-( Hey Mattlures, I bet this would be a good selling addition up north to your bluegill baits }(

I should have known...

I wanted to find a site so I could look at these and did a Google search on sweet beavers. I did find a coule sites with pics but also got several other sites with pics that weren't plastic baits. And this from work...

Anyway, I didn't see any delta money SB's and can't tell too much about the colors from the pictures. Are you guys just joking around about delta money beavers? If not, which color is the closest?

Woodsac aka Jake is pouring some beaver look alikes in Delta Money, that is what the guys are talking about. It is never a good idea to google any of reaction innovation bait names at work...never know what may show up on the screen.
